How is a pet ash-crystal made?

A small portion of your pet's cremated remains is placed under extreme heat and pressure until it melts and reforms into a jewellery-grade crystal (骨灰晶石). The result is solid, clear and lasting — made entirely from your own pet's ash, with nothing added and nothing mixed.

How much ash is needed to make a crystal?

Only about 1 gram of cremated ash is required. This is a very small amount — a gentle, respectful portion. Any remaining ash is carefully returned to you after the crystal is complete.

How long does it take?

Typically 3–6 weeks from the time we receive the ashes to delivery of the finished keepsake. Our studio will confirm the exact timeline with you personally during the consultation.

Can you use ashes from any pet — cat, dog, bird?

Yes. We work with the cremated remains of cats, dogs, birds and other pets. The crystal-forming process is the same regardless of species or size, so every companion can be remembered this way.

Is my pet's whole ash used?

No. Only about 1 gram is needed. Your pet's ashes are kept completely separate at every stage — nothing is ever mixed with another pet's remains — and any unused ash is returned to you in full.

How do I send the ashes to Kar Fook?

Once you pre-book, our studio contacts you within 24 hours and guides you through every step. You send a small sealed portion by secure post or drop it off in person. We handle the rest, and provide a making-video so you can see the process with your own eyes.
